Knowledge and Experience
Joanne has over ten years experience in personal injury law, during which she has advised major insurers and self-insurers on workers’ compensation, public liability and motor vehicle claims. She has also practiced in the areas of commercial litigation and general insurance law, advised major mining and resource companies, retailers and government departments on matters involving contact and tort, corporations law, insurance law, privacy legislation and occupational safety and health legislation. Joanne has been instructing solicitor on matters before the Court of Appeal, Supreme Court of Western Australia and District Court of Western Australia. She was a member of a team that successfully defended a High Court case.
