Nicole has practiced in the area of insurance since 2000, having defended workers compensation, personal injury, property damage and public and general liability claims on behalf of various insurers, and insured’s including NRMA (t/as SGIO/CGU Insurance), GIO Australia Limited, Zurich Australian Insurance Limited, QBE Insurance Limited, Allianz Australia Insurance Limited, the Insurance Commission of Western Australia, Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance (VERO) and St Ive’s Gold Mines Pty Ltd.

Nicole has provided advice relating to issues of liability, quantum and claims management, as well as policy interpretation, policy indemnity and all other insurance related matters. She has also provided advice and defended claims made pursuant to various State and Federal legislation including the Workers’ Compensation and Injury Management Act 1981 (WA), Occupier’s Liability Act 1985 (WA), Insurance Contracts Act 1984 (Cth), Motor Vehicle (Third Party Insurance) Act 1943 (WA) and the Fatal Accident’s Act 1959(WA).

Nicole has provided comprehensive advices to a wide variety of insured’s and insurers regarding all issues pertaining to indemnity liability, quantum, claims management and strategic planning for early and cost effective resolution of claims. The bulk of Nicole’s experience is defendant based across general insurance, worker’s compensation and public liability fields. Nicole has also provided complex advices to brokers and companies including Goldfields, in relation to contractual and insurance requirements to specific projects and generally.
