Workers’ Compensation Update 2011
The Workers’ Compensation and Injury Management Amendment Act 2011 (“Amendment Act”) was introduced into the State Parliament on 17 March 2011. It passed through both Houses of Parliament on 17 August 2011 and was given the Royal Assent on 31 August 2011. Most of the amendments implemented by the Amendment Act will come into effect on 1 October 2011 however changes to the dispute resolution system will come into effect on 1 December 2011. Read More...
